Privacy policy.
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated 8 October 2026Who we are
MPS Digital Media is based in Wretton, Norfolk. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used. You can reach us at micky@mpsdigitalmedia.com or on 07377 539699.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, what we do with it, and your rights under UK data protection law.
What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- Enquiries: your name, business name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us in your message, whether you use our contact page, email or phone
- Clients: contact and billing details, and the content, images and information you give us so we can do your work
- Website visitors: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which your browser sends automatically when it loads a web page
We do not ask for more than we need, and please do not send us sensitive information such as health details or card numbers by email.
How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and talk about working together. This is in our legitimate interests, and because you asked us to get in touch.
- To deliver the work you hired us for, and to invoice you. This is to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep records for accounts and tax. We have a legal obligation to do this.
- To keep our website secure and working properly. This is in our legitimate interests.
- To tell you about our services by email. We only do this if you asked us to or if you are an existing client, and every message has a way to opt out.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with companies that help us run our business, and only what they need. These include providers of email, website hosting, file storage, customer management, invoicing and payments. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
Your customers' information
If we build something for you that collects information from your own customers, such as an online shop or an enquiry form, you are responsible for how that information is used. We handle it only to build, run and look after the system on your instructions.
Sending information abroad
Some of the companies we use are based outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate protections are in place, such as approved contract terms, so your information stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after a reasonable time. Client records and invoices are kept as long as the law requires for accounts and tax, which is normally at least six years.
Keeping it safe
We use sensible measures to protect personal information, including secure accounts and limiting who can see it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely risk free, but we take care of what you give us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information, where we do not need to keep it
- Ask us to limit or stop how we use it
- Object to us using it for our legitimate interests or for marketing
- Ask for your information in a format you can move elsewhere
To use any of these rights, just email micky@mpsdigitalmedia.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please talk to us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

You can read about how this website uses cookies in our Cookie Policy.
